Maltina Dance Hall



Maltina the nation’s number one malt drink has been described as the only malt drink that continually engages its teeming consumers with loads of fun activities and events that allows for brand interaction. As part of the brand’s strategy of bringing joy and happiness to consumers, the brand actively participated in the 2012 Rivers State Carniriv Festival that ended in Port Harcourt, Rivers State over the weekend The high point of the event was the Maltina Sharing Pavilion that attracted very large crowd of people who had the opportunities of winning fabulous prizes in the week-long event. The dance contest which was categorized into 3 age groups of 11- 17 years, 18 – 34 years and 34 – 50 years was the favourite of fun seekers during the festival. Participants at the keenly contested dance competition in the free style gig witnessed the crowd choosing the winners by voice vote.The grand prize winner at the end of the dance challenge was Solomon Nte an undergraduate of the University of Port Harcourt who defeated Oko Felicia to the second position and Kemi Onyemauwa to the 3rd position respectively. The grand prize won was a 2.5 KVA Generator with a branded Maltina ATM card loaded with cash worth 20,000. The second prize was a 24 inches flat screen TV with a branded Maltina ATM card loaded with 15,000 while the third prize was a Fridge with a branded Maltina ATM card loaded with 10,000. The winners at the age group levels also took home branded T shirts, pens and six pack Maltina drinks Everybody that came into the Sharing Happiness Pavilion had free Maltina drinks with loads of barbeque fish. MC Nat Oliver and the Maltina dance team thrilled the audience with interesting jokes and great dance steps. We now know our 13 families that qualified after the medical screening... The Ebenezer, Briggs, Asiyefia Brown, Tom and Ikumoinein families from PH region; the Dosa, Clement, Ibrahim and Ebute families from Abuja region and the Ekado, Ibeatuche, Enweribe and Idundun families from Lagos region ‪#‎MDA
